Just caught wind of a terrific write-up about us in The Atlantic's Food Tour. Journalist Terrence Henry has been literally eating his way around the globe this year, stopping at such food destinations as Spain, Italy, New York and ... Columbus!
Apparently, Columbus wasn't even on his food itenerary, but after tasting Jeni's while passing through, he declared it a "must for any serious lover of ice cream." Not bad.
Raving about our Backyard Mint, Thai Chili, Goat Cheese with Roated Red Cherries and more, he says, "They work because a great deal of effort has gone into their crafting--what at first glance seems whimsical, upon first bite is proven artisanal."
Still, my favorite quote is where he describes our Bourbon Buttered Pecan as, "the older, drunker cousin of Rum Raisin." Right on.
