Blondies and Oatmeal Creme Sandwiches!
Including myself, there are only ten people who make your ice cream. Right now we are all on separate missions and bumping into each other in our tiny kitchen: pulling gurgling cherries from the oven; slowly stirring bubbling brittle before pouring it out to cool and harden; stirring caramel and chocolate in the steam kettle; or whirling gooey marshmallows in our new Hobart mixer, then tipping them out onto large sheet pans to cure (tomorrow they will be cut and tossed in cornstarch and powdered sugar).
In another corner (a few steps away), just-cooled buttery blondies are being cut into cubes and coated in our brown sugar sauce (for the gooey butter cake ice cream), the crumble for the cherries is being toasted (separately from the cherries so it stays crisp), and black walnuts are being browned. All of this before one drop of cream has been poured - the kitchen smells heavenly!
Welcome to Jeni's Bakeshop! This is the season when we throw all of our (imagined) sophistication out the window and tuck into some serious deliciousness. It is the most gratifying, lick-and-chew, motley collection of ice creams we have ever offered!
There is no better season. Get it now, because when Spring comes these amazing treats will be gone (for a year) and, happy as you may be to have Strawberry Buttermilk back on the menu, you will never forget the comfort and flavor you found here this winter!
To More Pleasures,
jeni
These flavors look delicious! So sad I'm not in Columbus right now. May need to think about mail ordering about batch of Jeni's! Thanks again for all of your creative flavors.

You can paint stainless steel that is used near heat with special
paint (appliance epoxy) but it may require you removing the hood and
taking it to a paint shop. They have the correct spraying equipment
to achieve an even finish although I did find a forum (see below)
where some people painted their own range hoods.
