[Update, 7/31: Slate.com just published a great roundup of four ice cream cookbooks currently on the market, including Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at Home: http://jen.is/MPZO31]
Last week was Jeni's week on Serious Eats, and we gave away a recipe a day for making creamy, scoopable ice creams (and confections) at home.
Here's a recipe roundup:

I am planning a party and have been looking for dips and dessert ideas to serve everyone. The baked Alaska Pie looks delicious! It looks like something that everyone can enjoy at the party. I would definitively need the ultimate recipe for the people that I know who love pie. I think I would add the sorbet to it as well. Do you by any chance have a Pinterest page that I can follow? I love saving and sharing all my favorite recipes I find on blogs and websites.
