Hi Jeni,
I have the same recipe in the book of you, but there is written, "the sauce does not mix with the ice cream" and here it is mixed properly (in the photo),or I have misunderstood something?

Julia, thanks for the question. Sorry for the confusion. It is better to layer sauce with the ice cream rather than mix or stir it. The technique creates lovely pockets of sauce in your pint of ice cream.


I have also done so: without the ice cream sauce to mix-then form small blobs of delicious sauces :)
